The winner of the Almedahls Award 2007 is Tina Carlsson for her contribution ”Anaglyf”. She is showing high artistic quality and pointing at new expressions within textiles. She combines a photographic technique with a sense of the pattern which is truly her own. The result is a textile with an atmospheric feeling of space where the flat two-dimensional fabric is optically transformed to a three-dimensional surface.
The jury this year comprised interior decorator/designer Ingrid Backman, White design, textile designer Pia Lehtovuori, Lisa Vilhelmson and Ann Larsson Kjelin, both designers at Almedahls AB.
