The winners of the Almedahls’ Award 2008 are Ylva Sundin and Karl Råman for their contribution ”Storm lace”. They are pointing at the effects of climatic changes in a sophisticated way. With a three dimensional mosquito net in a sculptural pleated finish they have created a technical textile with high aesthetic values. ”Storm lace” shows a strong feeling for the future development potential of textiles.
