Iris Maschek is an interior and textile designer who was born in Ingolstadt, Germany. She was trained at the University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld, Germany. After graduating in 1994 she established her own design company based in Cologne. Since then Iris Maschek works for a wide range of international clients from the textile industry and the interior market.
She also established her reputation through designing ambitious wallpaper collections such as the Red Dot Award 2010 prizewinning wallpaper "park" from the collection "15 Wallpapers". For Almedahls Iris has designed pattern Flinga filled with snowflakes that bloms in space. Printed on a new quality in Trevira CS
